How to connect tata photon+ in ubuntu 12.04 LTS

You can connect or establish an internet connection in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS version. Steps are simple andd short. Well, If you're new to Ubuntu Linux platform then it might be a little hard for you. But, I'm pretty sure, you will get rid of it. Make sure about your TATA Photon+ or Huawei Internet modem is active or has balance on it.

Steps that you must :

1) Enable Networking : Firstly, you need reboot your PC or computer. Stroke down to an option called "Ubuntu, with Linux 3.2.0-20-generic (recovery mode)". Stroke or enter on enable networking. Now, you just enabled it and restart your computer.



2) Edit Connection : Insert you Tata Photon+ or Huawei mobile modem first. Goto or search Network tools - > Goto Devices -> Click on configure -> Network connections window will pops up, click on Mobile Broadband option. Now, Click on Add button. An auto detection will be there for the specific devices that you have inserted. Click Continue button.






3) Choose your providers country or region:  Select your country and continue.


4) Choose your provider or service provider : Click on Tata Indicom (Photon+), and continue.









5) Confirm mobile broadband settings: Click on Apply button to finish the entire settings.


6) Provide Username and Password: Click on Tata Photon+, Click on Edit button , Goto Mobile Broadband. Provide Username as "internet" and Password as "internet". To finish click on save.


Most Important Information: 
1) Restart your PC once done all the settings
2) Wait your device to initialize the setting
3) Now, goto taskbar network icon, click on enable mobile broadband and connect it.
